Rubinski Works

  • Madison R. Holler is the artist behind Rubinski Works, operating on Wahpekute + Anishinaabewaki land (Central Minnesota).

    One-of-a-kind works are created by madi with glass and metal seed beads on beeswaxed thread. She also practices metalsmithing techniques to construct abstract precious metal components for her work.

    Madison’s work explores the bridge between traditional craft and modern beadwork practices, her collections provide commentary on her shared Dutch, Scandinavian and Anishinaabe heritage, with an emphasis on folklore and storytelling.

    Madison has a vocational background in photography and graphic design as well as experience in ceramics, printmaking, painting and illustration.
